Indo-Thailand Friendship Award 2022 to Dr Kh Robindro Singh

Members of IMA SEM met Mr Shrey Vats, IPS and respected Superintendent of Police, Kakching on 8th May 2022, and discussed the responsibilities of doctors, patient and patient party, Government and Hospital authority, Politicians, law and order enforcing agencies, in connection with the recent incidences of violence against doctors and health care workers.

12th June 2022

IMA SEM branch in association with Library and information center Kakching, organized an Extempore speech among college students on the theme “Violence against health care workers and health care institutes” with eminent Jury members Like, Shri Ksh Kunjabi Singh, Chartered Accountant, Dr RK Lenin Singh, Prof & HOD Department of Psychiatry, RIMS, MR Shrey Vats, IPS, SP Kakching. The function was attended by many students and scholars and different personalities.

IMA SEM members attended IMA Extempore Speech Competition on the theme “Prevention of Violence in Health care” organized by IMA Manipur branch, at IMA Hall Lamphelpat.

IMA SEM, Share & Care, Wangkhei, PLANECT, Tera, Imphal West, NHAWEM,  jointly organized a “wheel chair distribution program to persons with disability” on the theme “Hingminabagi Lambelda”, at Jivan Hospital.

IMASEM along with Jivan Hospital Kakching observed Alzheimer’s Day on 20th September 2022 as a part World Alzheimers awareness month.

11th December 2022

Members of IMA SEM actively participated the 38th All Manipur Medical Conference (AMAMECON), held at Lamphelpat on 10-11th December 2022, by presenting scientific papers related with the theme of the conference “Ageing gracefully”. President of IMA SEM Dr Ksh Manglem Singh delivered a speech as presidium member.

Dr Kh Robindro Singh, the hony. Editor IMA SEM was awarded with Indo-Thiland Friendship Award 2022 for his service towards the people at large.

1st October 2022

Observed the International Elderly peoples’ day by visiting the old age home at Wangban, Thoubal district. President IMA SEM and members interacted and presented gifts to the inmates.

President IMASEM, Dr Ksh Manglem Singh, represented IMASEM and delivered a talk on Nutrition and Health in a Health awareness program organized by the faculties on Kha Manipur College, Kakching.

IMASEM along with Jivan Hospital Kakching and Kakching Runners celebrated the World Health Day 2023 on the 75th Anniversary of world health organization, by organizing a Cyclothon in and around Kakching and Pallel to bring awareness on “Health for all”.

23rd April 2023

IMASEM observed its first foundation day graced by M Rajkumar Singh, IAS, then DC Chandel district, as chief quest, Dr RK Lenin Singh and Dr N Nabakishor Singh, Rtd CMO Chandel as guest of honours, and other dignitaries. A souvenir was released and CME program on "Nutrition and Health" and "Stress management" was also organised as part of the celebration.

Organised free health camp at different relief camps where displaced persons are taking shelter at Thoubal and Kakching, 

provided free medicine, psychological support with counselling sessions and relief materials.

Members of IMASEM highly condemn the heinous  act of raping and killing one PGT woman of RGKAR Medical College Kolkata on 9th August 2024, in an emergency meeting

A CME program on "Routine Immunisation and VPD surveillance", " ANC and Early Registration", and "Breast Feeding" was organised as part of observance of "National Immunisation awareness month and World Breast feeding month" at Jivan Hospital auditorium participated by IMASEM members, CDPO Kakching and Supervisors. The CME was  sponsored by WHO Manipur.
